Research Focus
We added Y2O3 particles into phosphor layer to see the enhancement of their Color Rendering Index (CRI) as well as the improvement on lighting uniformity and luminous flux. Application of Mie theory to study light scattering and to develop a Matlab program to simulate scattering amplitudes and extinction coefficient of light emitting from white LEDs.
Application of modified Porod’s law to calculate interfacial layer thickness of poly(ethylene-co-tetra fluoethylene grafted polystyrene sulfonic acid) (ETFE-PEM) proton exchange membrane at different grafting degrees based on experimental small angle X-ray scattering data. Therefore, we can know how proton exchange membrane alters or is influenced by water molecules. Thereby, I can modify properties of proton exchange membrane by choosing suitable materials to create the membrane of Fuel Cell with high efficiency and long life time as well as other its applications.
Application of the Quantum Theory, DVR (Discrete Variable Representation) method to solve two or three-dimension Schrodinger equations. Combination with Matlab Gaussian09, Morp softwares to simulate vibrationation and combination of molecular vibrational states.
